Research Summary
My research focuses on the intersection of Precision Manufacturing, Surgical Robotics, and Biomedical Engineering. I specialize in the fundamental mechanics of bone-tool interaction, focusing on thermal modeling and force analysis to improve the safety and accuracy of orthopedic procedures. My recent work extends into Soft Tissue Biomechanics and Intelligent Medical Devices, including the development and review of magnetically actuated capsule robots for targeted drug delivery and in-situ gastrointestinal visualization. By bridging advanced manufacturing techniques with clinical needs, I aim to develop the next generation of minimally invasive surgical tools and robotic systems.
